polisi Z 9899 DF tersebut disimpan IS di Jalan Desa Cimurah yang tak jauh dari
Jalan Raya Karangpawitan.
Kasubag Humas Polres Garut, AKP Ridwan Tampubolon, mengatakan IS kini
sudah diamankan di tahanan Mapolres Garut beserta truk yang digunakan untuk
menabrak istrinya.
Dewi tewas setelah tergilas oleh ban bagian depan sebelah
kiri. Peristiwa tersebut terjadi setelah Dewi menghalangi IS yang akan pergi
memakai truk.
"Korban ditabrak setelah menghalangi truk yang
dikendarai suaminya itu. Korban dan pelaku sebelumnya memang sudah bertengkar
sejak dari rumah," ujar Ridwan di Mapolres Garut, Rabu (3/5/2017).
Usai menabrak korban, lanjut Ridwan, IS malah melarikan diri.
Sedangkan Dewi sempat dibawa ke RSU dr Slamet. Namun nyawa Dewi tak bisa
diselamatkan karena menderita luka yang cukup parah.
Tak Ada Ekspresi Menyesal
Pelaku akhirnya berhasil ditangkap petugas pada Rabu dini
hari saat tengah beristirahat di kawasan Haurpanggung.
"Pelaku ditangkap pukul 01.30 saat beristirahat di dalam
truknya. Pelaku dan truknya langsung dibawa ke Polres," katanya.
Dalam pemeriksaan, pelaku mengaku menyesal telah
menghilangkan nyawa Dewi Supartini (35). IS mengira jika Dewi akan menghindar
saat ia mulai melajukan truk.
"Saya kira dia mau ngehindar waktu saya mau jalankan
truk. Saya enggak tahu dia tersenggol. Tapi memang truk sempat selip
dulu," ujar IS saat dimintai keterangan petugas Unit Perlindungan
Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Satreskrim Polres Garut, Kamis (4/5/2017).
Raut wajah IS tampak tak mengumbar rasa penyesalan
